The trip was also a test to see how our Labrador Retriever would do traveling. Kaycie A.K.A. crazy dog does not like to ride in the car, so we were apprehensive about taking her on a trip with the Motorhome.

As you can see, as we took off, she didn't know what to think. We gave her a happy pill to help her calm down. She needed a few more happy pills during the weekend, but she did well. We are amazed at just how good she was.

Indigo Bluffs sets on a beautiful 67-acre parcel. It has a luxury R.V. park, a rustic park, and cottages.

It was sunny and about 70 degrees on Friday, so we took a drive on M-22 and stopped in Leland. Being its color tour season, it was busy. We walked around the downtown area and Fishtown.

After about an hour, we decided to head to the Northport lighthouse. As we drove through Northport, we stopped at Barb's Bakery. My sister used to live outside of the town, and when I came to visit, I always stopped at Barbs. We were lucky and got the last two cinnamon rolls.

Saturday, the weather changed, and cooler temps came in. We like to go to Frankfort on Saturday for there farmers market. I stopped along the way to take a few pictures.

It was also busy at the Farmers market, and Eileen bought a few things. We went for a walk downtown and to the beach.

When we got to the beach is was breezy, and the cooler temperatures put a chill in the air. The wind was churning up the lake, and the waves were breaking hard along the shoreline.

After lunch, we headed to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Park. It's one of the most beautiful areas in Michigan.

Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive is one of my favorite places to visit in the park. It was mostly cloudy, but we did have some brief periods of sun.

It’s hard to beat fall colors in Northern Michigan.

Photography should be fun! It's not about the phone or camera brand you're using. Always remember, your best photographs are the result of one thing, making an effort to get out and shoot.
