Summer in Michigan seems to take forever to get here, then it’s gone. July marks the end of the baseball season for my four grandsons. I’ve enjoyed watching them, taking pictures and seeing all the players improve.
Titus the youngest, played T-ball. He’s very athletic, but I think was a little bored at times. It's fun to watch those little guys. They don’t have much of a attention span at four.
Landen and Gavin played on the same team which makes it nice. Gavin has a head for the game. He’s always ready and normally makes the right play. Gavin hits really well, he hit two home runs over the fence in one game.
Landen is full of energy, he just never stops. He has improved a lot this year and he hit some home runs to. I should have never bet them that if they hit a home run I’d take them to Craig's Cruiser in Grand Rapids. That one cost me!
Issac is the oldest and the level of skill really shows. He plays really hard and is a good athlete. I’m not sure baseball is one of his favorite sports but he's out there giving his all. Issac’s season was cut short by a sudden illness that required surgery. He’s doing better and is looking forward to his favorite sport, football.
Another boys of summer in the books.
