Ok, I worked over thirty-five years; mostly seven days a week and two years ago I retired. So now It’s MY Time—well sometimes.
The Kellogg Company employed me and I worked all three shifts and numerous jobs. I started when I was twenty and really grew up learning the factory life. I was able to work in safety my last five years. I learned a lot and I had the opportunity to travel to different plants. I have two daughters that worked summer help; it helped pay for their education. Kellogg’s provided my family a great standard of living and a healthy retirement.
My wife and I have five daughters. They all have a college education. But the greatest thing is we have been blessed with seventeen grandchildren. That why It’s NOT MY Time—all the time. Most of them play sports and this gives me a lot of opportunity to use my camera.
I have a small graphic/web design business named Hi-Content Design. It specializes in helping small businesses and non-profits design and develop an online presence. I really enjoy working with these businesses; it gives me the opportunity to give back.
So what do I really love to do? Ride my Harley Davidson. I purchased a new Softail in 2012, then upgraded to an Ultra Classic last year. I’ve been out west to the Sturgis Rally a few times and plan on going again this summer. I find there is nothing like riding, being out in the open country, just soaking up the scenery.
I hope you enjoy
