I've been busy working on getting the dock and boats in the water. Everything is ready for summer; now all we need is the sun and warmer temperatures to get the water to warm up.
On a few of the warmer days, I was able to get out and take a few wildlife photos. The wood ducks were also enjoying a sunny day.
There were a lot of swans; most of them were civil, a few got real aggressive to each other. One chased another for about twenty yards with feathers flying; it came up with a mouth full of feathers.
In my last blog, I mentioned the Geese had some goslings. Now they're all over the lake. I had this family in my front yard. They sure are cute. Just wait a few weeks I'll be running them off my yard and dock as they know how to make a mess.
There was a beautiful reflection on the water, and I shot a few Mallards swimming through it.
Photography should be fun! It's not about the phone or camera brand you're using. Always remember, your best photographs are the result of one thing, making an effort to get out and shoot.
Comments always welcomed.
