We took a ride to Cement City to the Artesian Wells Sports Bar for there Thursday bike night. It's a nice ride; it was sunny and a chilly, felt a little bit like fall.
They had a good size crowd, and it took us a few minutes to find a table. We sat with a couple from Clinton, we talked for a while and then ordered some food.
Kevin Nichols & Blue Tuesday played a nice mix of music. I've seen them at the Bohm Theater a few times.
About two weeks ago at another concert, my camera would not focus correctly. I had to send it in to have it repaired. The camera came back Thursday, so I was anxious to test it out. Thankfully it worked perfectly.
Kevin Nichols is the lead guitar player with soulful vocals. Heather Cryderman Kulaga on bass and backup vocals. Rex Hambone plays drums, and his enthusiasm makes him fun to photograph. Michael Crupi played guitar, mandoline, and harmonic. He also is a talented singer.
It's incredible how many talented musicians there are in the area. The one thing they all have in common, they love to play music.
Kevin and Blue Tuesday were having as much fun playing as the crowd was dancing and listening to the music.
Please support your local concert venues and musicians.
Photography should be fun! It's not about the phone or camera brand you're using. Always remember, your best photographs are the result of one thing, making an effort to get out and shoot.
Comments always welcomed.
