As fall starts to fade, I thought I'd take the last trip with some color to the bird sanctuary and take just reflections.
The leaves are falling rapidly, and most of the vibrant reflections are gone. I did find a couple of nice areas that still had color.
It took a lot of patience as I waited for the ducks and swans to swim into the area. The area was small, and it helped when the sun lit the colors.
The swans were flying all around, and I did take some BIF, but that's for another blog post.
I've always wanted a 600mm lens, but they can be pricey. I did a lot of research, and I ended up purchasing a Sigma 150-600. A few Fuji shooters in the DP Review forums use this lens, so I took the plunge. It's a whole new experience having 600mm. On my Fuji crop sensor, it equals 840mm.
The colors in the water were unique and changed as the morning sun rose higher. I'm sure this is the last of the colorful reflections for 2020
Photography should be fun! It's not about the phone or camera brand you're using. Always remember, your best photographs are the result of one thing, making an effort to get out and shoot.
Comments always welcomed.
